It could be a statement win, or maybe even a single play which stands out above the rest. Jalen Hurts might’ve had his Heisman moment in the Red River Showdown on Saturday.A Texas defender came up with a near strip-sack of Hurts in the third-quarter. But the Oklahoma QB switched the ball behind-his-back, causing the defender to miss, allowing Hurts more time to eventually complete a pass.Check out this awesome photo of the play.Great photo by @photo_Brazziell of Jalen Hurts’ behind-the-back play to avoid a sack. I was ready to give Hurts the Heisman after he pulled that off. pic.twitter.com/pL1lz2EwZ5— Keff Ciardello (@Keff_C) October 12, 2019 Even Hurts couldn’t believe what he did. After the game, the Sooners QB saw the highlight on Sports Center and couldn’t believe it.He took to Twitter to post his reaction.Well Damn lol 😯 https://t.co/EgtPaC1HQI— Jalen Hurts (@JalenHurts) October 12, 2019Was this Jalen Hurts’ potential Heisman moment? Who knows.National experts continue to weight back-and-forth regarding the best player in college football. Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa certainly has a case. But Hurts is putting up video-game like numbers each and every week. The dual-threat QB passed for 235 yards, rushed for another 151 and scored four times on Saturday vs. Texas. Hurts led OU to a 34-27 win.In a very rare feat, he now has wins in the Iron Bowl and Red River Showdown. Is there anything Hurts can’t do?
